Joe was raised by his grandparents in Kensington. After high school, Joe decided to follow in his family’s footsteps and joined the Carpenter’s Union in 1996.  While in the Carpenter's Union Joe was an active member and was a shop steward.   In 2008,during the Housing Crash, Joe decided to start a carpet cleaning business.  K.C. Carpet and Upholstery Cleaners began in the back of his pick-up truck.  Within the next few years Joe expanded his business to include maintenance, air duct and dryer vent cleaning. He renamed his company to KC Cleaning & Maintenance. He currently has 5 vans and 2 pick-up trucks that are out on the streets daily servicing the Tri-State Area. In 2022 Joe started an exterminating company as his next small business.  He  partnered with Kevin Nicholl, who was a chef for twenty years and was looking for a career change.  Together they began KC Pest Control.  KC Pest Control along with KC Cleaning & Maintenance has become a one stop home service company. Joe has taken his knowledge and experience and has mentored numerous other small business owners.

As President of the Far Northeast Small Business Association, Joe hopes to help even more small business owners. Joe resides in East Torresdale with his wife and four children.  When he is not working he can be found on the sidelines at one of his children’s soccer games.
